Jill Pakman

Jill gained her vast amount of performing experience during four years of constant performing with the United States Air Force Strategic Air Command Band in Omaha, NE. She has performed for audiences of every conceivable size ranging from small private dinner shows to crowds of over 50,000 at national Mid-West air shows. Her engagements have included formal dinner dances, an Independence Day celebration at the foot of Mt. Rushmore, and high school tours in major cities throughout the Mid-West.

After leaving the USAF Band, Jill pursued her performance career in South Florida. She again performed for audiences of almost every conceivable size primarily for organizations at their gatherings. She performed with the Jazz band at Broward Community College, and was the featured performer with Sunrise Symphony Orchestra. While living/performing in Florida, Jill connected with her Judaic side and began functioning as a Cantor in a small synagogue. After returning to her home area North
East of Philadelphia, she continued on that path, leading her to obtaining her Masters Degree in Cantorial Music. She has served a congregation in the Lehigh Valley for ten years.

The tracks included on this album consist of original songs by all the talented people in Jill's life and she is proud to bring this music to the public. The songs are melodic and innovative with engaging or meaningful lyrics. The arrangements are easy to listen to. One will hear the varied styles that Jill is capable of, along with a greatly varied vocal range. The styles incorporated on the album are also varied from Popular Jazz to Latin Jazz to Smooth Jazz to Easy Listening. The songs represent all the talented people in Jill's life, her father Marvin, and friends whose love and musicianship she cherishes.
